Clinical Supervisors are responsible for knowing, understanding, teaching, and training future professional counselors/clinicians. It’s a challenging task, but contributes so much to the future of our profession. Establishing yourself as a Clinical Supervisor means creating procedures and processes to be used for the coming years. It also means following the Georgia rules and laws. It’s a very serious responsibility that extends over a long period of time. This workshop provides a step by step format to follow to be successful as a Clinical Supervisor.

Presenter: Carolyn A. Ramp, LPC, NCC, ACS, CPCS
Carolyn Ramp’s career in mental health spans over 30 years. Her experience includes outpatient clinical work in agencies, school systems, as well as building and managing a multi-specialty private practice of 18 therapists. She’s earned a master’s degree in 1993 and A Specialist’s Degree in Counseling in 2000. She was President of LPCAGA in 2019 -2020. Her specialties include Clinical Supervision for over 20 years, working with the families of the Personality Disordered, teaching parenting strategies as a Love and Logic Facilitator and she is a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist. She currently works with LifeStance Health as a Clinical Lead.
