RECOVERY STRATEGIES FOR GRIEF

Do you find it difficult to have practical strategies to use with your patients who are dealing with grief? So many of our patients are grieving without realizing it. However, Recovery is possible. This program will address a unique definition of the grieving and will introduce the myths that society has regarding grief. It covers how unresolved grief is impacting our society as a whole. As well, it will also offer specific techniques to use when working with grievers to help them process and resolve their grief. There are many kinds of loss and each loss is unique. Learn how to do this work of the heart and help your patients reclaim new meaning for life.

This workshop offers 3 Continuing Education Credits (3 CEs).

This workshop costs $75 and is presented virtually. All attendees will receive an email with a Zoom link the night before the workshop.

Presenter: Carolyn A. Ramp, LPC, NCC, ACS, CPCS

Carolyn Ramp’s career in mental health spans over 30 years. Her experience includes outpatient clinical work in agencies, school systems, as well as building and managing a multi-specialty private practice of 18 therapists. She’s earned a master’s degree in 1993 and A Specialist’s Degree in Counseling in 2000. She was President of LPCAGA in 2019 -2020. Her specialties include Clinical Supervision for over 20 years, working with the families of the Personality Disordered, teaching parenting strategies as a Love and Logic Facilitator and she is a Certified Grief Recovery Specialist. She currently works with LifeStance Health as a Clinical Lead.
