NAVIGATING CHALLENGES IN CLINICAL SUPERVISION

This workshop will review a variety of roles that counselors balance during the supervision process and use case examples to practice identifying this balance and challenges.  This workshop will work though a variety of challenges faced when supervisees present personal or interpersonal dilemmas during supervision.  Finally, this workshop will review a variety of case examples of challenges and how to resolve them using a strength-based approach.

This workshop offers 3 SUPERVISION Continuing Education Credits (3 CEs).

This workshop costs $75.

Presenter: Angela Feeser, LPC, CPCS

Angela Feeser, EdS, LPC, CPCS started her therapy career providing in-home counseling services throughout the CSRA. In addition to her therapy roles, her leadership roles included Regional Director and Clinical Director over outpatient mental health/substance abuse, crisis stabilization and developmental disability services. She has been a member of a variety of advocacy groups for mental health and addiction. During the last four years she has focused on providing therapy in a private group practice. Angela enjoys providing workshops in ethics
and clinical supervision, as well as, providing clinical supervision for upcoming therapists.
